The grass is finally starting to grow after the dry period. I under estimated how quickly it would recover so we are a little behind in our plans. In hindsight applying some Urea in addition to the Sulfato de Amonio would have boosted growth faster. The paddock of rye grass & trebol is starting to respond to better grazing. All part of learning a new farm.

Sub soiling & planting Annual rye will begin shortly now the rains have started.

Repairs & maintenance are high due to one off circumstances. They should return to normal levels after this month.

Milk production was affected by a Mastitis problem that has now been resolved. A plan has been developed if it recurs to identify the bacteria causing the problem & to treat it with the correct antibiotic.

This month we will start implementing the plan & move towards profitability.
